The production code 0C21644C1639 — Dior uses a letter system for seasons, and the initial "0C" corresponds to the codes used for ready-to-wear during the Raf Simons era, and more specifically refers to the Cruise/Resort 2014 collection (presented in Monaco in May 2013).

100% cotton exterior with silk lining (Raf loved cotton faille and dry, structured cottons for everyday wear)

• Polka dot pattern (Raf drew inspiration from Monsieur Dior's polka dots on several occasions)

• Short sleeves, fitted bodice, A-line silhouette—a direct reference to 1950s Dior

• Thin grosgrain knotted belt (a Raf signature)

This piece most likely comes from Raf Simons' 2014 Cruise collection for Christian Dior, which was heavily inspired by the original archives—and it's exactly the kind of piece that could resonate with a dress on display at the Galerie Dior in Paris, since Raf's 2014 Cruise collection explicitly referenced archival haute couture pieces from the 1950s.
