At Vestiaire Collective, our Community Members possess a distinct voice, and we’re sharing a curated collection of their stories that capture their unique taste and style.
Meet Sophie Hersan, Vestiaire Collective Fashion Director and co-founder. It all started with a simple question: Why do so many fashion pieces go unused in our wardrobes, and is there a way to extend their lifespan? Circularity is the common denominator throughout her life, from the vintage YSL tux she got from her mother, to how she designed her apartment or the new Vestiaire Collective’s Paris HQ, where all the furniture is secondhand, following strict environmental and social criteria. Learn more about her casual, effortless, and Parisian style, as well as her passion for timeless pieces she’s scored on the platform thus far.
Summer Wong, Vestiaire Collective's Global Marketing Coordinator, is perfecting her spring wardrobe. Patterns and colors punctuate a normally neutral-toned color palette leaving touches of springtime romance in its wake. Her Vestiaire Collective wishlist consists of Liner large purple pants from Loulou studio, a linen mini dress from Jacquemus, the Baguette handbag by Fendi and a mid-length skirt from Ganni.
Karim, a Vestiaire Collective community member, is perfecting his summer wardrobe. “To stay cool, I usually wear T-shirts or a tank top under wide, lightweight shirts. For shoes, I'm always in Salomon XT6s (I have all the colors!); they're perfect for summer hikes in Marseille. Two years ago, I fell in love with platform Crocs – they're so comfortable! And finally, for the accessories, I always have a big tote bag full of anything and everything I need for the beach. Loewe sunglasses from Paula’s Ibiza collection are also essential!"
Inès, a member of the Vestiaire community, is refreshing her summer wardrobe. She says, “This summer, I have my eye on sleek accessories like Port Tanger's Mektoub sunglasses and Maryam Nassir Zadeh’s Olympia wedges. I’m gravitating toward unexpected details like Our Legacy jeans with tulle panels. And for a pop of color, I love the glittery green bags from Kiko Kostadinov. My summer vibe will be a blend of sexy and masculine, a mix of comfortable and colorful.”
