Salvatore Ferragamo, the story of a brand which won the hearts of Hollywood stars.
Before it became a globally recognisable Italian brand, Salvatore Ferragamo began as the story of one man who was originally a shoemaker at the beginning of the 20th century. He took a risk and moved to the United States to practise his craft. It was thanks to his talent that he became one of the favourite designers of many leading film stars of the time including Ava Gardner and Marlene Dietrich. His designs embodied his infinite sense of creativity and he was hired personally to create the famous red shoes that Judy Garland wore in the classic film "The Wizard of Oz". Although the founding designer died in 1960, his family took over at the helm of the business and went on to diversify into other domains like leather goods, perfumes and watchmaking. The brand also designs refined accessories such as men's belts.
Men’s accessories which convey sophistication and nonchalance.
The designer was well-known for experimenting with forms and materials in order to produce truly unique creations. Here, the label once again shows us the extent of its talent and know-how with lines of accessories designed with men in mind. Amongst those, you can find stylish leather belts with a touch of metal on the buckle. The double buckles on many of the designs make an even greater visual impact. These pieces reflect Italian elegance blended with the requisite dose of originality to ensure they stand out from the rest.
