Archival Gianfranco Ferré Oversized Leather Trench Coat w/ Shearling Collar

Brand: Gianfranco Ferré (Mainline)
Era: Late 1980s / 1990s
Made in: Italy
Size: IT 50 (Fits like a Men’s US Medium to Large due to the intentional boxy vintage cut)
Description:
An incredible, heavy archival piece from the "Architect of Fashion," Gianfranco Ferré. This premium mainline coat is crafted from thick, substantial black leather that remains beautifully supple. It features Ferré’s signature architectural silhouette: strong dropped shoulders, an oversized dramatic collar, and clean minimalist button closures.
Highly versatile multi-season design: it comes equipped with a fully detachable interior quilted lining vest and a matching plush, tan shearling collar insert. Wear it fully layered for heavy winter protection, or strip it down to the shell for a sleek leather trench transition piece in autumn.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The exterior leather has been incredibly well preserved with zero cracking, peeling, or drying. Interior satin lining and quilted vest are pristine. The inner tag is crisp and highly legible, indicating minimal wear. Non-smoking home.
