Blue denim jeans from Marithé + François Girbaud, French pioneers of designer denim, whose creations from the 1990s-2000s are now experiencing a strong revival on the vintage market. Commessa 00723, made by GIR+A&F srl (S. Giovanni in Marignano, Italy), manufactured in Turkey.

Highly detailed and characteristic construction: double zip closure (central fly zip + left pocket zip integrated into the waistband), engraved golden snap button, architectural belt loops with contrasting details, asymmetrical front pockets with visible orange stitching, clean back pockets with distinctive V-shaped topstitching. Intense washed treatment with whiskering (fade marks at the crotch), faded areas on the thighs, light authentic distress marks on the back pockets — this is all part of the original treatment, not abnormal wear. Bottom of the leg with a discreet zip at the hem. Inner waistband in ecru cotton with a characteristic Girbaud sewn-in red trim.

Jean en denim bleu de la maison Marithé + François Girbaud, pionniers français du denim design, dont les créations des années 1990-2000 font aujourd’hui l’objet d’un fort regain d’intérêt sur le marché vintage. Commessa 00723, fabriqué par GIR+A&F srl (S. Giovanni in Marignano, Italie), confectionné en Turquie.

Construction très travaillée et caractéristique de la maison : fermeture double zip (fly zip central + zip de poche gauche intégré à la ceinture), bouton pression doré gravé, passants de ceinture architecturés avec détails contrastants, poches avant asymétriques à coutures apparentes orange, poches arrière épurées avec surpiqûres distinctives en V. Traitement délavé intense avec whiskering (marques de faux-plis à l’entrejambe), zones claires sur les cuisses, légères marques de distress authentiques sur les poches arrière — tout cela constitue le traitement d’origine, non de l’usure anormale. Bas de jambe avec zip discret à l’ourlet. Intérieur ceinture en coton écru avec liseré rouge cousu caractéristique Girbaud.
