The brand Sézane was thought up and developed by the designer Morgane Sézalory in 2013. Before that, she had already been involved with fashion, since she spent her time customising clothing which she then sold online. In 2008, she ended up selling vintage pieces on her site "Les Composantes". It was only 5 years later that she embarked upon the Sézane adventure with the aim of designing a wardrobe that was simple and feminine just like her. Items were only sold online and success came immediately, to such an extent that the collections sold out after only a few hours. The brand's reputation came from customers and word-of-mouth which seems to work perfectly. As well as clothing, the designer is now making a foray into designing collections of footwear and handbags.
