Azzedine Alaïa Fall 1989 Black Velvet Lamb Suede Embellished Cropped Jacket – Size 38

Suggested listing price: $2,950

A remarkable vintage Azzedine Alaïa jacket from the Fall 1989 collection.

Crafted in exceptionally soft black velvet lamb suede, this sculptural cropped jacket features an oversized, dramatically pointed collar and distinctive dimensional woven embellishments arranged across the body, sleeves and underside of the collar.

The combination of sumptuous velvet-finish lambskin, striking proportions and intricate surface detailing makes this a particularly unusual example of Alaïa’s late-1980s work.

The interior label reads Azzedine Alaïa Paris, size 38. The composition label identifies the material as 100% agneau velours (velvet lamb).

Purchased new by the original owner and carefully kept.
