"Le bal des Vampires" is the name of an extremely limited collection of boots/santiags, created in a limited edition by French actress Emmanuelle Seigner in collaboration with luxury fashion house Celine.
Launched in 2009, these leather boots were made in Texas and decorated with embroidered motifs inspired by the Mexican "Day of the Dead" holiday (such as skulls). The collection numbered only 1,000 numbered pairs, sold at an initial price of €1,500.
The name chosen by Emmanuelle Seigner for this collaboration with Celine is a direct reference to the famous 1967 satirical film directed by her husband, Roman Polanski, titled "Le Bal des vampires" (The Fearless Vampire Killers).
If you are looking for a collector's item, these are for you. The size on the boot is 36.5 FR, fits 37/38 EU.
