The brand Ginette Ny came into existence in 2002 at the initiative of the French designer Frédérique Dessemond. Originally this designer with a passion for vintage would rework clothes and accessories from eras past. A friend of hers set her a challenge, namely to produce a collection of jewels for her to sell in her New York store. The tone was set from the word go. The jewels she designed were understated and pared-down, offering the possibility of engraving a name or a set of initials, and went down incredibly well. The jewels that you could personalise to your liking literally flew off the shelves.

The materials used are raw and the gemstones are natural.
