The brand Chloé saw the light of day in 1952 under one Gaby Aghion. After bringing her innovative vision to the world of fashion, along with her Romantic-cum-Bohemian style, Chloé gave birth to See by Chloé. The second label came into being 50 years after the original brand and sees itself as more attainable and as being within the reach of as many women as possible. The brainwave behind the idea came from Phoebe Philo. Just like Chloé, the See by Chloé line offers customers clothing, footwear and accessories in a romantic, lightweight and very feminine style. The target audience is, however, younger and more likely to be city-dwellers.
