This is a gorgeous vintage mauve silk blend 2 piece pants and jacket, the jacket is lined, suit by TALBOTS. It is vintage, in pristine (see details below) condition and a size 6. PLEASE CHECK MEASUREMENTS BELOW FOR FIT. 

THIS IS SUIT IS VINTAGE, SO I WOULD ASSUME IT'S BEEN WORN. HOWEVER, IT IS IN PRISTINE CONDITION, THERE IS NOT A SNAG, A STAIN AND NO TWILL. THE INSIDE LABELS ARE NOT EVEN RUMPLED AT ALL. THE BUTTON HOLES HAD INCURRED NO STRESS.

The fabric is 51% silk and 49% cotton and the jacket is lined with 100% polyester.  The fabric looks and feels like pure luxury. Dry Clean Only

The color is a beautiful shade of mauve. The jacket is fully lined.  It buttons with one fabric covered button. The sleeves are 3/4 length. There is no cuff just a notch slit. The body of the jacket is very softly tailored at the waist for figure flattering fit. There are no pockets. The hemline falls nicely over the top the hips. The pants are tapered and end in a slim leg opening with a notch slit. The pants zip on the side  and have an inner button which creates such a flattering fit. There are no pockets.  The entire suit is all about sleek clean lines and figure flattering from top to bottom.

The BUST of the jacket is 37 inches without opening the front, the SLEEVES measure 21 inches and the LENGTH from the top of the shoulder to the hem measures 22 inches and the SHOULDERS from seam to seam measure 15.5 inches.The WAIST of the pants is 32 inches, the HIPS measure 39 inches. The FRONT RISE is 10 inches. The INSEAM is 29 inches. The width of the bottom of the leg measured laid flat and straight across is 7 inches.
